Performance credits include Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre, UVic Phoenix Theatre, Langham Court Theatre, Bragi Theatre and the UBC Brave New Playwrights Festival.Įlizabeth Blanco is an actor, improviser, dancer, and storyteller. ![]() In addition to teaching weekly classes and camp programs, Shea has co-directed the Kaleidoscope Young Company (2021) and created an exciting new program the Teen Shakespeare Intensive. Shea is passionate about theatre education for youth and was an Associate Instructor at Carousel Theatre for Young People, as well as a part of the Riotous Youth Internship Program at Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival before joining the faculty at Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People. She is now an Associate with the MVI and a founding member of the MVI Alumni Committee. After graduating from the theatre program at the University of Victoria with a specialization in acting, she continued her training at Canada’s National Voice Intensive (now the Moving Voice Institute/MVI) in Toronto. Shea is an actor, teaching artist and arts administrator originally from Mohkinstsis, (Calgary, AB). Pat is a proud member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and is currently the Co-Rep for the Theatre for Young Audiences Caucus with the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres, alongside Breanne Harmon of Green Thumb Theatre. Pat received his formal theatre training at the prestigious American Musical & Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, California. Pat is probably most well known for his role as Bilbo Baggins in Kaleidoscope’s The Hobbit and as the Rich Goat in over 100 performances of Puente Theatre’s critically acclaimed musical Gruff. ![]() Local performance highlights include Edgar in the Canadian premiere of Nevermore (Urban Arts), Mozart in Amadeus (KT), Alan in One Man, Two Guvnors (LCT), the Baker in Into the Woods (Urban Arts), Greg in A Chorus Line (VOS), Rooster in Annie (Black Box Productions), and Hunter in the M Award Winning musical (Urban Arts). Pat (he/him) is an award winning theatre director, actor, producer, arts leader, and communications and events professional with over 15 years experience in both private and charitable non-profit sectors.Īs a director, Pat’s work has been seen across the region, with personal highlights including: The Addams Family (KTYP), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (LCT), 9to5 and A Christmas Story (VOS), Blink! (Puente Theatre), Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh (Urban Arts), and Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (Black Box Productions).Īs a performer, Pat has worked in Canada and the United States, performing on stages, in festival tents, outdoors at parks, at historic sites, and in front of the camera.
